This 5-day English language course is designed to enhance the English language proficiency of teachers, Erasmus+ coordinators, school management/administration, and school staff specifically for the effective management of Erasmus+ projects. The course will focus on building vocabulary, improving language skills, and applying these skills to project management and communication within the program. 

 

Throughout the course, participants will engage in language enhancement activities integrated with project management and communication exercises. This approach will allow participants to not only improve their language skills but also immediately apply them to Erasmus+ project management. This course brings several advantages, such as better English skills for Erasmus+ project management. It also boosts communication abilities for both online and face-to-face interactions with international partners. Participants gain a clearer grasp of EU project terms and documents, making them more confident in writing proposals and reports. Plus, they develop cross-cultural skills, helping them work effectively with partners from diverse backgrounds in the Erasmus+ program.

 

This course is an opportunity for educators and school staff to strengthen their English language skills while acquiring essential tools for managing Erasmus+ projects effectively. It equips participants to confidently navigate the challenges of international project partnerships within the Erasmus+ program.

 

Please note: This course is suitable for teachers with a B1/B2 level of English. It helps teachers use English more confidently in project management and daily life, building on their existing language skills.

 

This course is delivered by native English speaker teacher trainers, ensuring you receive authentic language instruction and exposure to native pronunciation and expressions.

  1. Vocabulary Building: Participants will expand their project management-related vocabulary, including key terms and phrases essential for successful project proposals and documentation.

  2. Writing Skills: The course emphasizes effective writing techniques for project proposals, reports, and documentation. Participants will engage in practical exercises to improve their written communication.

  3. Oral Communication: Strategies for successful online meetings, webinars, and in-person interactions will be explored. Practical activities and role-playing will enhance participants' ability to engage with partners from different European countries.

  4. Cross-Cultural Communication: Understanding cultural differences and building cultural awareness are crucial for effective collaboration. The course provides insights into cross-cultural communication and conflict resolution strategies.

  5. Language Enhancement: Continuous language improvement is integrated throughout the course. Participants will have opportunities to practice grammar, pronunciation, and language proficiency.

Day 1: Vocabulary Building and Language Enhancement

Importance of language in Erasmus+ project management

Vocabulary Building: essential vocabulary related to project management and international collaboration.

 

Day 2: Writing Skills and Language Learning

 

Complex Sentence Structures: constructing complex sentences and using cohesive devices.

Advanced Vocabulary: sophisticated vocabulary for expressing ideas fluently and accurately.

Writing Workshop: writing clear and concise project descriptions using professional English language. 

Structuring proposals and highlighting key points effectively.

Group Activity: Developing Project Proposals in English: Collaborative writing exercise where participants work together to create project proposals while using professional English.

 

Day 3: Effective Oral Communication Strategies in English

 

Polite and Diplomatic Language: strategies for expressing opinions, making suggestions, and disagreeing politely.

Strategies for successful online meetings and webinars

Active Listening Techniques: active listening skills through role-plays and communication exercises.Activities:

Simulatation of project meetings where participants engage in discussions, negotiations, and decision-making using professional English.

Feedback on language use, clarity of communication, and effective participation.

 

Day 4: In-Person Communication, Presentations, and Language Proficiency

 

Designing Project Communication Plans in English: creating communication plans for Erasmus+ projects, including email templates, meeting agendas, and reporting structures, all in professional English.

Effective strategies for in-person meetings and presentations

Activities: In-Person Meeting Simulation

Presentation Skills Practice

 

Day 5: Cross-Cultural Communication and Final English Language Project Presentations

 

Understanding and respecting cultural differences and strategies for resolving conflicts in multicultural project teams

Activities: Cross-Cultural Scenario Analysis

Structuring presentations, using visual aids, and delivering speeches confidently in English.

Final Preparation for Project Presentations: each participant presents their project proposal in English, showcasing their improved professional English skills.

The 5-day course fee per participant is set at 400€, which provides comprehensive coverage for all aspects of the program. This fee includes the following:
