All courses are delivered in English, which serves as the common working language across Erasmus+ mobility activities in Europe. A working knowledge of English (A2 level or above) is recommended. We also offer dedicated English Language Courses for Teachers at various levels (A2–B1, B1–B2, B2–C1) for those wishing to strengthen their language skills as part of their professional development.
Yes. All participants who complete a Euromentor course receive an official Certificate of Attendance issued by Euromentor, detailing the course title, dates, location, trainer names, and learning outcomes. We also provide support documentation to help schools complete Europass Mobility certificates, which are the EU's recognised tool for documenting learning experiences abroad. These documents are important for the final reporting requirements of your school's Erasmus+ project.
The Erasmus+ Programme Guide sets out specific quality standards that course providers must meet for their courses to be eligible under KA1 mobility projects. These five areas are:
1. Information & Transparency: providers must clearly publish course objectives, content, learning outcomes, trainer profiles, and practical details so participants can make informed choices.
2. Content & Pedagogy: course content must be relevant, up-to-date, and delivered using active, participatory learning methods by qualified trainers.
3. European Dimension: courses must promote international exchange, cross-cultural understanding, and a genuine European perspective.
4. Recognition & Validation: providers should issue recognised certificates (e.g., Europass Mobility documents) and support participants in having their learning recognised by their home institution.
5. Follow-Up & Impact: quality providers support participants after the course ends, helping them apply new skills in their school context and disseminate outcomes to colleagues.

Our courses are open to all staff working in the field of school education across Erasmus+ Programme countries. This includes: classroom teachers (all levels: pre-primary, primary, secondary), school leaders and headteachers, school counsellors and psychologists, teacher assistants and pedagogical advisors, school administrators and non-teaching staff, education policy coordinators and school inspectors, and staff from organisations active in school education or early childhood education and care (ECEC).
Participants typically come from schools that hold Erasmus+ Accreditation (KA120/KA121) or from schools that have been awarded a Short-Term Mobility Project grant (KA122). VET (Vocational Education and Training) staff and adult education staff are also eligible under their respective Key Action sectors.
No, accreditation is not a prerequisite for attending our courses. Schools can access Erasmus+ funding through two pathways: (1) Erasmus+ Accreditation (KA121-SCH): Schools that have obtained Erasmus+ Accreditation can submit a simplified annual grant request to their National Agency to fund ongoing staff mobility, including attendance at our courses. Accreditation is valid for the entire 2021–2027 programme period. (2) Short-Term Projects (KA122-SCH): Schools without accreditation can apply for a short-term project grant from their National Agency, listing specific mobilities - including our courses - in their project plan.
Either pathway allows schools to receive Erasmus+ funding to cover course fees, travel, accommodation, and subsistence costs. Contact your National Agency or visit the official Erasmus+ website at erasmus-plus.ec.europa.eu for details.
No. Under Erasmus+ Key Action 1 (KA1), it is always the school or organisation - not the individual teacher - that applies for and receives the grant. The school submits the project or grant request to their National Agency, selects the participants, and manages the funding. However, teachers are warmly encouraged to discuss Euromentor courses with their school coordinators or headteachers, share our course catalogue, and propose attending a course as part of their school's European Development Plan. We are happy to provide schools with letters of intent, course descriptions, and all documentation needed to support a grant application.
Erasmus+ is open to organisations from all 27 EU Member States, as well as Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway (EEA countries), and the candidate countries North Macedonia, Serbia, and Turkey. Some actions are also available to partner countries worldwide. Participants from these Programme Countries are eligible to receive Erasmus+ grants to attend our courses in Barcelona. If you are unsure whether your country qualifies, please check the official Erasmus+ website or consult your National Agency.
While Euromentor is a training provider and not a project management agency, we are always happy to support your school's application by providing: official letters of intent confirming course availability and fees, detailed course descriptions and learning outcomes suitable for inclusion in your project application, guidance on how our courses align with your school's European Development Plan (EDP), and answers to any questions about our courses, Barcelona, and the mobility experience. For comprehensive guidance on writing your Erasmus+ application, please consult your National Agency or the official Erasmus+ Programme Guide.
The Erasmus+ Programme Guide is the official reference document published annually by the European Commission. It provides detailed rules, eligibility criteria, funding rates, quality standards, and procedural requirements for all Erasmus+ actions, including KA1 mobility projects. It is the primary document schools and coordinators should consult when planning a mobility project or accreditation application. The current Programme Guide is always available on the official Erasmus+ website: erasmus-plus.ec.europa.eu/programme-guide
The Erasmus+ KA1 grant is designed to cover the main costs associated with mobility activities. Eligible expenses typically include: the course fee (charged by Euromentor), international travel costs (flights, train, etc.), accommodation and meals (individual support), visa fees (where applicable), and language preparation costs. Grant amounts are calculated using standardised unit costs set by the European Commission, based on the distance between the participant's home country and the host city (Barcelona). These rates are published each year in the Erasmus+ Programme Guide.
Important note: the 2025–2026 Programme Guide limits the use of 'Courses and Training' to a maximum of 50% of the total awarded project grant (with an exception for projects up to €40,000 EUR). Your National Agency can provide the exact rates and rules applicable to your country.
Erasmus+ Accreditation (KA121-SCH) is a long-term quality label granted to schools that demonstrate a clear internationalisation strategy and commitment to European cooperation. Accredited schools can submit a simplified annual grant request each year throughout the 2021–2027 programme period, without reapplying from scratch each time. It is ideal for schools that want to build a sustained, multi-year mobility programme.
A Short-Term Project (KA122-SCH) is a standalone application for a specific, time-limited mobility project. Schools apply with a defined set of planned activities (e.g., sending 3 teachers to a training course in Barcelona) and receive a one-time grant for those activities. It is a good entry point for schools new to Erasmus+ mobility. Both pathways are valid for funding participation in Euromentor courses.
Erasmus+ is the European Union's flagship programme supporting education, training, youth, and sport. Under Key Action 1 (KA1) - Learning Mobility of Individuals - schools and other education organisations can apply for funding to send teachers and staff abroad for professional development activities.
For school staff, eligible mobility activities include: structured training courses (such as those offered by Euromentor), job shadowing at partner schools abroad, and teaching assignments at a European partner institution. Mobilities typically last between 2 and 30 days. The goal of learning mobility is to enhance educators' professional skills, broaden their European perspective, and ultimately benefit their students and school communities back home. Refund policy
Due to COVID -19 situation, Euromentor will refund the paid course fees only when the cancellation is based on the decisions and directives of authorities (EU, government, National Agency) and for this we will need an official document issued by a governmental authority.
In case the customer cancels their participation after paying the fee, Euromentor charges the transaction costs of the reimbursement.
If the participant wants to cancel, even though there are no policies implemented by the authorities mentioned above, the Cancellation Policy applies.
Due to the fact that all National Agencies will accept to prolong an Erasmus+ project (which might include periods of mobility abroad for multiple participants) or a European Solidarity Corps project by up to 12 months, in case “force majeure” clause is invoked, we encourage all future participants to choose another suitable date for their course in our institution.
Euromentor is going to ensure maximum flexibility when it comes to the choice of the date, substitution of participants as well as the choice of another course that we provide.
