This Erasmus+ course is designed for teachers and school staff at B1–B2 level who are ready to move beyond textbook English and communicate more naturally and confidently in professional situations.
Over five days, you will engage in rich, teacher-led conversations and practical speaking activities built around real-life professional scenarios. The focus is entirely on fluency, confidence, and communication. You will discuss topics relevant to your everyday working life as an educator, share experiences with fellow teachers from across Europe, and develop the kind of natural, flowing English that only comes from actually speaking it in a supportive and engaging environment.
This course is fully eligible for Erasmus+ KA1 funding, making it an excellent choice for your professional development mobility. Group sizes are kept small to ensure every participant gets maximum speaking time and personalised feedback from experienced English language trainers.

Lessons will take place from Monday to Friday in the morning hours. (09:30-14:30)
Day 1 - Monday: Welcome and Getting to Know Each Other
Welcoming and Course Overview: Introduction to the course, its objectives, and expected outcomes.
School Presentations: Participants introduce themselves and their schools, sharing their professional background and experience in education.
Ice-Breaking Conversations: Guided speaking activities to build comfort and confidence within the group from the very first day.
Assessing Speaking Levels: Informal speaking activities to identify individual strengths and areas for improvement.
Day 2 - Tuesday: English in the Professional World
Talking About Your School: Conversations around school life, teaching roles, and educational systems across Europe.
Describing Your Teaching Experience: Fluency activities focused on talking about your professional journey, challenges, and achievements.
Expressing Opinions: Guided discussions on education-related topics, focusing on agreeing, disagreeing, and justifying your views naturally.
Role Play Activities: Practical speaking scenarios based on real professional situations educators face internationally.
Day 3 - Wednesday: Conversations in International Settings
Networking in English: Practical activities simulating international conferences, Erasmus+ events, and professional gatherings.
Small Talk and Professional Chat: Developing the ability to engage in natural, informal conversation with international colleagues.
Listening and Responding: Activities focused on understanding different accents and responding naturally in conversation.
Group Discussions: Open conversations on current topics in education, encouraging fluent and spontaneous expression.
Day 4 - Thursday: Fluency and Confidence Building
Storytelling in English: Participants share professional experiences and classroom stories to develop natural, flowing speech.
Debate and Discussion: Structured debates on education topics to build confidence in defending and expressing ideas in English.
Dealing with Communication Challenges: Strategies for managing misunderstandings, asking for clarification, and keeping conversations going.
Peer Feedback Sessions: Participants give and receive constructive feedback on their spoken English in a supportive environment.
Day 5 - Friday: Putting It All Together
Real-Life Speaking Scenarios: Final practical activities bringing together all the skills developed throughout the week.
Participant Presentations: Each participant delivers a short presentation on a topic of their choice related to their professional life.
Feedback and Reflection: Reviewing feedback on the final presentations and reflecting on key takeaways from the course.

The 5-day course fee is 400€ per participant and covers everything you need for a smooth and rewarding Erasmus+ course and training experience in Valencia, Spain.
