This course is designed to provide beginner-level English language skills specifically tailored for school administration and management team. This course aims to enhance the language proficiency of participants, enabling them to effectively communicate, manage, and engage in school context. 

 

The course is divided into comprehensive modules that cover essential language skills such as speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Participants will learn and practice fundamental grammar rules, expand their vocabulary, and develop their pronunciation and conversational skills. Special emphasis is placed on practical applications of English in an educational management context, including public speaking, giving instructions, and conducting discussions. Throughout the course, participants will engage in various interactive activities, including role-plays, group discussions, language games, and language-based projects. These activities promote active participation, collaboration, and a hands-on approach to learning, ensuring that participants can immediately apply their newly acquired language skills in real-life situations.

 

By the end of the course, participants will have gained increased confidence in using English as a medium of instruction and communication. They will be equipped with a solid foundation in the English language, enabling them to deliver effective presentations, and engage in meaningful conversations with their team.

 

Please note: This course is suitable for participants with an A1/A2 level of English. It helps participants use English more confidently in school context and daily life, building on their existing language skills.

 

This course is delivered by native English speaker teacher trainers, ensuring you receive authentic language instruction and exposure to native pronunciation and expressions.

Classes take place Monday to Friday in the morning.

 

Day 1:

 

Introduction to the course and its objectives

Icebreaker activities and participant introductions/school presentations

Language needs analysis: Assessing participants' current language skills

Speaking Skills: Basic conversation skills, greetings, and introductions

Pronunciation practice

Role-plays and pair/group activities

 

Day 2:

 

Listening Skills: Strategies for improving comprehension

Different types of listening activities, such as dialogues, interviews, and recorded lectures

Note-taking techniques to aid comprehension

Practice exercises focusing on listening skills

Introduction to educational technology tools and online resources

 

Day 3:

 

Reading Skills: Developing comprehension skills

Techniques for skimming and scanning texts

Vocabulary expansion related to education and teaching

Reading comprehension activities and discussions

Analyzing and interpreting texts in an educational context

 

Day 4:

 

Writing Skills: Essential techniques for school management and secretarial team.

Different writing formats for various purposes (emails, reports etc.)

Grammar essentials review with a focus on sentence structure and paragraph development

Writing practice activities and peer feedback

Incorporating creativity and critical thinking in writing tasks

 

Day 5:

 

Recap and Review: Reviewing key concepts and language skills covered throughout the week

Final Activities: Engaging in interactive group activities and projects that integrate the language skills learned during the course

Wrap-up Session: Reflecting on individual learning experiences and insights gained from the course

Networking and Collaboration: Facilitating opportunities for participants to connect, exchange contact information, and foster professional networking

Course Evaluation: Collecting feedback from participants regarding the course content, delivery, and overall experience

Certificates: Presenting course completion certificates to participants as recognition of their successful completion of the course and Erasmus+ documents 

The 5-day course fee per participant is set at 400€, which provides comprehensive coverage for all aspects of the program. This fee includes the following:

  2. Administrative Support: Participants will benefit from administrative assistance before, during, and after the course, ensuring a smooth registration process, timely communication, and any necessary follow-up support.

  4. Coffee Breaks: Participants will enjoy refreshments during coffee breaks, fostering networking opportunities and providing a relaxed environment for informal discussions and interactions.
  5. Other Inclusions: The fee also covers any additional services or resources required for the successful implementation of the course, ensuring a comprehensive and fulfilling learning experience.
