In today's diverse and interconnected world, fostering social and emotional learning (SEL) in preschool settings is paramount for nurturing well-rounded, emotionally intelligent, and socially competent young learners. This Erasmus+ course is designed to empower educators and preschool professionals with the knowledge and skills to effectively promote social and emotional learning (SEL) in preschool settings. Participants will explore various SEL theories, strategies, and practical tools to foster emotional intelligence, positive relationships, and emotional well-being among young children. This Erasmus+ course delves deep into the principles, strategies, and practical applications of SEL, equipping educators and preschool professionals with the tools to ultimately contributing to the holistic development of young children.
This course will employ a blend of interactive workshops, group discussions, hands-on activities, case studies, and reflective exercises. Participants will engage in peer collaboration and practical application of SEL strategies. Additionally, site visits to local preschools may be incorporated for real-world insights.
Comprehensive Understanding of SEL: Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of SEL, exploring the core principles, theories, and research underpinning this critical aspect of early childhood education.
Effective SEL Implementation: Through hands-on activities and group discussions, participants will learn how to design and implement developmentally appropriate SEL activities and curriculum, aligning them with national and international education standards.
Fostering Emotional Intelligence: This course will provide strategies and techniques to cultivate emotional intelligence in preschool children. Educators will learn how to help young children identify and express their emotions, fostering self-awareness and emotional regulation.
Promoting Positive Relationships: Building on the foundation of emotional intelligence, participants will explore methods for nurturing positive relationships, empathy, and effective communication skills among preschoolers.
Assessment and Impact Evaluation: Participants will learn how to assess the impact of SEL interventions in preschool settings, enabling them to continuously improve their teaching practices and measure the developmental progress of children.

The 5-day course fee per participant is set at 400€, which provides comprehensive coverage for all aspects of the program. This fee includes the following:
